Sarah Jane Turns Two Years Old

Here's a letter from Sarah Jane's parents

Sarah Jane turns two years old tomorrow, June 5, 2007. We wanted to first thank you for your prayers, thoughts, and good wishes, and we wanted to give you an update.

She continues to make slow but steady progress. Her doctors tell us so long as she continues to make progress not to worry about the time it takes for her to do things.

Sarah Jane continues to work very hard. She still receives occupational therapy twice a week for an hour, physical therapy twice a week for an hour, visual therapy twice a week for an hour, feeding and speech therapy three times a week for a half hour, and special education once a week for an hour. She is still maintaining her straight A average with all her therapists!

In addition, we created a specialized device that allows her to walk with extra support - she loves it! We even have her working out on the treadmill (we have a video of her updated on her website www.SarahJaneDonohue.com). We have also created her own reading lesson which allows her learn the alphabet at her own pace (you can see her lesson online at www.SarahJaneDonohue.com/readinglesson.html - make sure your volume is on and click on the left mouse button to advance the program).

As always your prayers are much appreciated, and Sarah Jane receives every one of them.
